Last updated: August 28, 2026
Viamora ("Viamora," "we," "us," or "our") is a Canadian business consulting company that helps entrepreneurs and investors research, plan and prepare to establish, acquire or expand businesses internationally. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you use our public website, submit an enquiry or eligibility assessment, book a consultation, or use the Viamora Partner Platform, including as a visitor referred through a co-branded Partner mini-site.
By using our website or services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use our website or services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Website enquiries. When you submit a contact form or request a consultation, we collect your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, country information, and the details of your enquiry or message.
- Eligibility assessments. When you complete an eligibility assessment for a business or immigration pathway, we collect your responses to assessment questions, the computed result, and your contact details, so that we and (where applicable) the referring Partner can follow up.
- Partner accounts. If you register as a Partner, we collect your firm information, professional credentials, contact details, uploaded documents (such as a logo or professional photo), and the electronically signed partnership agreement.
- Consultation bookings.When you book a consultation (directly or through a Partner's mini-site), we collect your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, preferred date/time, timezone, and any information you provide about the purpose of the consultation.
- Technical and cookies data. We automatically collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and referring page, and we use cookies and similar browser storage as described in Section 4 below. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this website.
- Google Calendar data (Partners only). If a Partner or Viamora representative chooses to connect their Google Calendar, we access limited calendar information as described in Section 7 below.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and provide the business consulting services you request;
- Generate and deliver eligibility assessment results;
- Schedule, confirm, manage, reschedule or cancel consultations;
- Operate, secure and improve the Viamora website and Partner Platform;
- Attribute enquiries, assessments and bookings made through a Partner's co-branded mini-site to the correct Partner and assigned Viamora representative, so the right people can follow up;
- Send operational communications related to your enquiry, assessment, booking or Partner account (including account verification and password reset emails);
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use information collected through the website, assessments, consultation bookings, or a connected Google Calendar for advertising or any purpose unrelated to providing and operating our services.
3. Partner Platform and Attribution
Viamora's Partner Platform allows approved, independent professional firms ("Partners") to operate a co-branded mini-site and coordinate joint consultations with Viamora. Where you interact with Viamora through a Partner's mini-site, your enquiry, assessment, or booking is shared with that Partner and the Viamora representative assigned to that partnership, so that both can participate in your consultation. Partners are independently responsible for their own regulatory obligations and cannot see enquiries, assessments, or bookings belonging to other Partners.
4. Cookies and Browser Storage
Cookies and similar browser storage (such as local storage and session storage) are small pieces of data a website saves in your browser to remember information between requests or visits. We use them in four categories, and we ask for your consent before any category other than Strictly Necessary is activated.
- Strictly Necessary (always active). Used for security, keeping you signed in to the Partner Portal or Admin area, remembering your privacy choices, and preserving your in-progress answers while you complete a multi-step eligibility assessment. This category also includes a separate, first-party technology that remembers the language interface you have expressly selected, used only to display the website in your chosen language — it is not used for analytics, advertising, behavioral profiling, or any unrelated tracking. None of these can be disabled, and the website cannot function correctly without them, so they are not subject to the cookie banner.
- Preferences / Functional (optional). Used, where you consent, to remember contact details you have already entered in an eligibility assessment tool, so you do not need to re-enter them if you return to complete another assessment. If you do not consent to this category, this information is not saved between visits.
- Analytics (optional). Not currently used on this website. The consent option exists so that, if we introduce website-usage analytics in the future, it will only run for visitors who have consented.
- Marketing (optional). Not currently used on this website. The consent option exists so that, if we introduce marketing or advertising technologies in the future, they will only run for visitors who have consented.
We do not use any advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts. The only third-party services with any browser-visible connection to this website are our hosting provider (Vercel) and our database and authentication provider (Supabase); neither is used for advertising or tracking.
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Manage Preferences at a category level. Your choice is saved in a first-party cookie for up to 12 months, recording only which categories you accepted or rejected, the date, and the version of this consent notice — never your name, email, or other personal details, and never your IP address. You can review or change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the website footer, which reopens the same controls. If we materially change the cookies or browser storage this website uses, we will update the consent version, which will prompt the banner to appear again so you can make a fresh choice.
5. How We Share Information
We may share personal information with:
- Approved Partners and the Viamora representative assigned to a partnership, where your enquiry, assessment, or booking is attributed to that Partner;
- Service providers who help us operate our website and services, such as our hosting provider (Vercel), database and authentication provider (Supabase), email delivery provider (Resend), and, where a Partner or Viamora representative has connected it, Google Calendar (Google LLC), each of which processes information only as needed to provide their service to us;
- Professional advisors, where necessary; and
- Regulators or authorities, where required by law.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. This includes role-based access controls, encryption of sensitive credentials (including OAuth tokens used for Google Calendar integration) at rest, and restricting access to personal information to what is needed to provide our services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Google Calendar Integration
Partners and Viamora representatives may optionally connect their Google Calendar to the Partner Platform. This integration is entirely optional and is used solely to:
- Check free/busy availability, so that consultation times can be offered only when genuinely available (we never read event titles, descriptions, attendees, locations, or other event content); and
- Create, update, or delete calendar events (including a Google Meet video conference link where applicable) for consultations booked through the Partner Platform.
We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than determining availability and managing consultation appointments as described above. Google Calendar access tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to the browser or to any party other than the systems that operate this integration. A Partner or Viamora representative may disconnect their Google Calendar at any time from the Partner Portal, which immediately revokes Viamora's access. Viamora's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Consultation and assessment records are retained as part of our business records; you may request deletion as described in Section 9, subject to any legal retention requirements.
9. Your Rights and Contact Information
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (such as a connected Google Calendar). To exercise any of these rights, or if you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at hello@viamora.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
